Beach Week Update...
The boys I think are like me and love the water, sand, ocean and pool. Big Drake is a mountains kind of guy... But he dose very well while we are here and makes the best of it.
We are going to be leaving tomorrow making the long tip home to MD. Please pray for us while on the road if you think of it.
Another prayer request. Our friend Shaun was not able to make it with his kids. As many of you know he is a US Marine, and now a single father to two kids. The past two years of his life have just been awful. He was going to come and see us this week since he is stationed only a few hours away. He received orders from Head Quarters Marine Corps this past Monday stating that he was being transferred to a new infantry unit. 39. He was currently serving his old unit as a FRESNO and was not deployable. He now will be set to deploy as he is a Staff NCO and well trained in the Infantry. Shaun is not sure what he is going to do. He is a single father and can not separate from his kids, they need him as he is the only steady person in there lives. There may be few options for him. He loves being a Marine, and has been for 12 years now. It is to late in his career to change his MOS. To leave now, would be awful for his future, retirement, and the benefits he has for his kids.
Please pray for Shaun as he goes through this transition. That he would learn to trust God, in all things. And that he and his kids can stay together in some way ,as he continues his Military Career. Please pray that his current family situation will not cause him a discharge, as he can not fulfill his deployment duties at this time.
Well, I am off the get out for our morning walk and wagon ride to the beach. Have a great day!
Hugs, Heather and Clan.

Beach Buzz!
LD has had a buzz for quite some time now. His hair is much thinner then Caleb's and only looks good short. In the summer, LD's "high and tight" as Big Drake states it, needs to be cut close. Shave it!!! He says, as I tell him I am going to get the boys hair cuts. We did not shave it but it is nice and short again.
Tonight we are going Bowling with LD's school. It should be interesting!!!

It has been a really long time...
It has been a while since I have had the chance to sit down, gather my thoughts and send out a email and photos to all of you. For some reason every time I plan to do it... Something happens! We have several friends who have put together blogs for there family and friends to view. The nice thing about it is, you do not have to manage a address book for those that you want to share your photos with.
Please view this blog at your leisure. I will do my best to post updates form our family and share photos more frequently with all of you. Save the link in your favorites and check the blog out and say hello when you can. Let me know what you think of this new style.
OK... The latest from our "Clan"
Yesterday we celebrated Drakes 33rd Birthday! He worked late, so we did not get to do a nice meal at home. We did meet him at Chick-Filet for Ice Cream later in the evening!
This week we are getting ready for our annual trip to the beach. We are going to Hilton Head South Carolina. We will meet several of our family members at the beach for a week of fun in the sun!!! Drake's friend Shaun, from the Marine Corps, will coming to the beach for a few days. We can not wait to see him and his kids!! I am sure we will have tons of photos to share from our trip, so look for them!
Little Drake (LD) had a follow up at the eye Dr yesterday. He is doing well. He is going to have eye surgery this summer. It will be in June or August. He will be going to summer school in July. I will let you know the date of the surgery, and ask you to pray that everything will go smoothly.
This Friday, the Boys and I will be going to Kinder Farm Park in the morning. Caleb's school is having picnic! This will be a nice way to start off a weeks vacation!
We are a bit scared as to how the boys are going to sleep this year on vacation. We will spend one night in a hotel in NC, before arriving in SC at the beach. They have out grown Pack and Plays. As you can see from the photos below, they like slumber party's!
This is why, they no longer share a room!
