Beach Week Update...

We are having a wonderful time at the beach this week. It all will come to an end tomorrow. The weather has been wonderful!!!
The boys I think are like me and love the water, sand, ocean and pool. Big Drake is a mountains kind of guy... But he dose very well while we are here and makes the best of it.
We are going to be leaving tomorrow making the long tip home to MD. Please pray for us while on the road if you think of it.

Another prayer request. Our friend Shaun was not able to make it with his kids. As many of you know he is a US Marine, and now a single father to two kids. The past two years of his life have just been awful. He was going to come and see us this week since he is stationed only a few hours away. He received orders from Head Quarters Marine Corps this past Monday stating that he was being transferred to a new infantry unit. 39. He was currently serving his old unit as a FRESNO and was not deployable. He now will be set to deploy as he is a Staff NCO and well trained in the Infantry. Shaun is not sure what he is going to do. He is a single father and can not separate from his kids, they need him as he is the only steady person in there lives. There may be few options for him. He loves being a Marine, and has been for 12 years now. It is to late in his career to change his MOS. To leave now, would be awful for his future, retirement, and the benefits he has for his kids.
Please pray for Shaun as he goes through this transition. That he would learn to trust God, in all things. And that he and his kids can stay together in some way ,as he continues his Military Career. Please pray that his current family situation will not cause him a discharge, as he can not fulfill his deployment duties at this time.

Well, I am off the get out for our morning walk and wagon ride to the beach. Have a great day!
Hugs, Heather and Clan.

Glad you are enjoying your time at the beach. I'm with Big Drake, and not a big fan of the ocean. I hate finding sand everywhere after we leave, but I have toughed it out a few times for Rob and the girls...the things we do for those that we love! I will definitely keep Shaun in my prayers, what a tough situation.

Hey Fergusons,

Great pictures! Looks like you all had a great time. Hope we can get together for another Chick-Fi-Lay outing.
