God can "speak" to me, even through my three year old...

I have had a very busy week. Getting ready for school, having the boys in two different schools two days a week, the same school three days this week, hosting two breakfasts very early in the morning ministering to new Moms dropping of kids to preschool for the first time, all while getting my self and two kids out of the house an hour earlier then normal to set up, keeping our "normal" daily appts for Ld, taking care of the house, staying up late till 1-2 am in the mornings just to see my Hubby and talk face to face with his as he comes home from hours and hours of work, ordering medications, forgetting to stop at the pharmacy to pick them up, having a dear friend (thanks Kelly) offer to pick up Calebs school supplies at she store and take them to school for me so I do not have to worry about going to the store this week. Having my dear friend Babet call to see if we just want to stop by and have a quick dinner,so I do not have to cook and worry about what to feed the family, My Mom and Dad having us over and watching to boys so that I can run to an appt.
I am not complaining at all. I love my job as Mommy and Wife and I would not change anything about it.

This morning, I opened Calebs door. I was sure that he was still asleep. Instead I found him sitting on his Bed quietly "reading" his Kids Bible. He was looking at the pages with the story of Daniel and the Lions Den. I was reminded how when I am not rushing I start my day and more frequently end my day when I am most tired. I was able to let LD sleep for an extra few minutes and Caleb stayed in his room while I went back to my room and did what my three year old was doing. What a wonderful way to start our busy day.
Often times I find my self going over my prayer list and reading when I am almost asleep. Drake and I often times will fall asleep talking or praying.
Caleb reminded me how to start the day on the right track. I am so thankful the God used Caleb to teach me something for a change.

How sweet! I'm glad you had a minute in the morning to spend with the Bible--sounds like you are so busy! Good for you for keeping it all together. Love you guys!
